Being a good union member means more than going to work every day. At Unifor Local 594, we believe in being part of the communities where we live, work and raise our families. Our members have a long history of giving back—whether it’s volunteering their time, coaching the next generation, supporting local organizations or lending a hand when our community needs it most.

Our members are active throughout Regina and surrounding communities. You’ll find 594 members coaching minor hockey, baseball, soccer and other youth sports, volunteering at community events, serving on local organizations and helping neighbours in countless ways. Much of this work happens quietly, without recognition, but it reflects something we are proud of: our members care deeply about the communities they call home.

As a Local, Unifor 594 also believes in putting our resources behind the causes that matter. Over the years, we have supported organizations and initiatives including the Regina Food Bank, KidSport, local transition houses, the YWCA, the Salvation Army and other community programs. We have also proudly participated in blood donation drives and other initiatives that make a tangible difference in people’s lives.

Our commitment to community is an important part of who we are. We believe in standing together—not only in the workplace, but in our communities as well. Whether it’s a member volunteering their Saturday to coach a group of kids, a group of members raising money for a local cause, or our Local supporting an organization doing important work, Unifor 594 is proud to give back and make a difference.
